Want to improve the lives of millions of farmed animals? As part of Animal Policy International you’ll join impact driven change-makers focused on making a difference in the world.

Summary

We're currently hiring for an EU Policy Manager based in Brussels and a Campaigns Coordinator, flexible location.

Apply before January 9th by filling in the forms. Please apply as soon as possible as we’ll be interviewing on a rolling basis.

About the roles

EU Policy Manager

Animal Policy International is seeking an EU Policy Manager based in Brussels to start as soon as possible. Learn more and apply.

  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Compensation: 40,000-70,000 euros depending on need, skills and experience

  • Employment type:  1-2 year fixed-term (depending on applicant profile, freelance contract may also be an option)

  • Location: Remote, based in Brussels. You must have the right to live and work in the EU

  • Process: There will be 2 interviews and one/two tasks

Due to the ‘Brussels Effect,’ legislation enacted in the European Union influences many countries worldwide. This means that the significant impact on animals within the EU can lead to changes on a global scale. We are looking for someone who is eager to embrace this opportunity to create impact for farmed animals, who loves networking, and is keen to be our team member - our “boots on the ground” - based in Brussels full-time.

We value your competence rather than credentials. While experience in EU public affairs and a solid understanding of the EU policy-making process is valued, we also welcome applications from individuals who may not have direct experience but possess a strong ability to learn quickly and  can demonstrate those exceptional networking, communication, and strategy skills required for this kind of position.

Campaigns Coordinator

Animal Policy International is seeking a creative, driven and highly organised Campaigns Coordinator to deliver the public campaign side of our work across New Zealand and UK  to start as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is eager to embrace the opportunity to create impact for farmed animals. Learn more and apply.

  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Compensation: 27,000 - 37,000 pounds depending on need, skills and experience

  • Employment type:  1 year fixed-term (depending on applicant  profile, freelance contract may also be an option)

  • Location: Remote. We can accommodate most locations in the world, with preference for UK, EU or New Zealand. You must have the right to live and work in the area you’ll be based in.

  • Process: There will be 2 interviews and one/two tasks

We value your competence rather than credentials. While experience in campaigns and a solid understanding of campaigning is valued, we also welcome applications from individuals who may not have direct experience but possess a strong ability to upskill quickly. Most of all we’re looking for someone who is highly organised, a “do-er”,  has strong communication skills, is strategic, a problem solver, adaptable and is resilient and persistent. We especially need someone with a campaigner mindset who knows they can achieve a goal and will stop at nothing to get it done.

We look forward to hearing from you!
