Eirini Pitsilidi
Eirini Pitsilidi is an international policy, public affairs, and strategic communications professional with a strong record in designing advocacy strategies, building multi-stakeholder partnerships, and advancing sustainable development, environmental protection, and animal welfare.
She is a recognised expert in food systems transformation, sustainable livestock production and consumption, antimicrobial resistance, and sustainable nitrogen management. Eirini has actively engaged on these issues with key United Nations bodies and processes, including the UNFCCC, CBD, UNEP and UNEA, FAO, and the UN General Assembly.
Eirini serves as a Fellow at Stakeholder Forum and previously led international policy advocacy at the UN as Global Head of International Affairs at Compassion in World Farming. Earlier in her career, she worked in strategic communications and public affairs for leading pharmaceutical companies.Â
Eirini holds an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
