Robert Hickson

Robert Hickson is a New Zealand farmer, veterinarian, climate-change researcher and international development specialist with over three decades’ experience in agriculture, rural livelihoods, microfinance and poverty reduction across Asia, Africa and the Pacific. Through farming interests in Wairarapa and Central Queensland, and research through Blue Carbon Services Ltd, he brings practical producer insight, scientific and policy experience, and a constructive focus on animal welfare, environmental outcomes and resilient farming communities.
